Service planning guide

Deep cleaning scope and booking checklist

Deep cleaning has no single fixed service scope. One provider may include appliances and detailed bathroom work while another prices those separately. A room-by-room list helps you compare the same job and avoid assumptions about what a cleaner will do.

Build the room-by-room scope

  • List the rooms and approximate size of the property.
  • Specify kitchen appliances, cupboards and surfaces requiring attention.
  • Record bathroom fixtures, visible buildup and ventilation access.
  • Identify skirting, doors, reachable windows and other detailed tasks.
  • Distinguish standard cleaning from carpet treatment, high-access work or hazardous-material removal.

Tell the provider about the site

  • Explain access, parking, stairs, lift bookings and available utilities.
  • Identify delicate surfaces and manufacturer care instructions.
  • Ask what equipment and products are supplied.
  • Move or identify valuable and fragile belongings before work begins.
  • Discuss pets, occupants and any time restrictions.

Confirm the price and completion process

  • Ask whether the quote is fixed or based on time on site.
  • List exclusions and how additional tasks will be approved.
  • Agree on the completion checklist and how missed work will be raised.
  • Keep the accepted scope, appointment details and receipt.
