Cranbourne West is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the City of Casey. It is located approximately 40km south-east of the Melbourne CBD. The suburb is bounded by the South Gippsland Highway to the north, the Princes Highway to the east, the Cranbourne-Frankston railway line to the south and the Western Port Highway to the west. The suburb is home to a number of parks and reserves, including the Cranbourne West Recreation Reserve, the Cranbourne West Community Park and the Cranbourne West Nature Reserve. The suburb also has a number of schools, including Cranbourne West Primary School, Cranbourne West Secondary College and Cranbourne West Kindergarten.
