Runcorn is a town in Cheshire, England, located on the southern bank of the River Mersey. It is part of the Borough of Halton and is situated between the towns of Widnes and Warrington. Runcorn has a population of around 61,000 people and is a major industrial centre. The town is home to a number of large employers, including AstraZeneca, Unilever, and the Runcorn Power Station.
