Melton West is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located 33km west of Melbourne’s Central Business District, in the local government area of the City of Melton. At the 2016 Census, Melton West had a population of 8,945.

Melton West is bounded by the Western Freeway in the north, the Melton Highway in the east, the Werribee River in the south and the Melton Reservoir in the west.

The suburb is home to the Melton West Primary School, Melton West Community Centre, Melton West Library, Melton West Shopping Centre, Melton West Recreation Reserve, Melton West Golf Course and the Melton West Fire Station.
