Toongabbie is a suburb of Sydney, Australia, located 32 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Parramatta. It is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. The suburb is bounded by the M2 Hills Motorway to the north, the Cumberland Highway to the south, the M4 Western Motorway to the east and the M7 Motorway to the west. Toongabbie is a residential suburb with a mix of detached houses, townhouses and units. It is home to a number of parks and reserves, including Toongabbie Reserve, Toongabbie Creek Reserve and Toongabbie Creek Park. The suburb also has a number of schools, including Toongabbie Public School, Toongabbie East Public School and Toongabbie Christian School. Toongabbie is serviced by a number of bus routes and is close to the Toongabbie railway station, which is on the T1 Western Line of the Sydney Trains network.
