Thornlie is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Gosnells. It is located approximately 17km south-east of the Perth central business district. The suburb is bounded by the Roe Highway to the north, the Albany Highway to the east, the Tonkin Highway to the south and the Canning River to the west. The suburb is mainly residential, with some commercial and industrial areas. The main shopping centre is the Thornlie Square Shopping Centre, which includes a Coles supermarket, a Kmart, a Target, and a variety of other stores. There are also a number of parks and reserves in the area, including the Thornlie Recreation Reserve, which is home to the Thornlie Football Club.
