The suburb is bounded by the suburbs of Goodna, Collingwood Park, Augustine Heights, Springfield, and Bellbird Park. Redbank Plains is a residential suburb with a population of approximately 10,000 people. The suburb is home to a number of parks, schools, and shopping centres.
