Frankston East is a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, located in the City of Frankston. It is located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, approximately 40 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD. The suburb is bordered by the suburbs of Frankston, Frankston South, Langwarrin, Seaford and Carrum Downs. The area is home to a number of parks, reserves and recreational facilities, including the Frankston East Recreation Reserve, the Frankston East Golf Course and the Frankston East Tennis Club. The suburb is also home to a number of schools, including Frankston East Primary School, Frankston High School and Frankston East Secondary College. The area is well serviced by public transport, with a number of bus routes running through the suburb, as well as the Frankston railway line.
