Deer Park is a city in Harris County, Texas, United States within the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area. The city is located in the San Jacinto River and Galveston Bay watershed. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the population of Deer Park was 32,010. The city is known for its large petrochemical industry, which is a major part of the Houston Ship Channel. It is home to the Deer Park Independent School District, as well as the San Jacinto Community College district.
