Boronia

Boronia is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located 24km east of Melbourne’s Central Business District. Its local government area is the City of Knox. At the 2016 Census, Boronia had a population of 16,890.

Boronia is a residential suburb with a mix of housing styles, including some older weatherboard homes, brick veneer homes, and more recently built townhouses and apartments. The suburb is home to a number of parks and reserves, including the Boronia Park, which is a popular spot for picnics and barbecues. The suburb also has a shopping centre, Boronia Mall, which includes a variety of shops and services.

The suburb is well serviced by public transport, with a number of bus routes running through the area, as well as a train station on the Belgrave line. The nearest major shopping centre is Knox City Shopping Centre, located in nearby Wantirna South.
