Bentleigh East is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 13 km south-east of Melbourne’s central business district. Its local government area is the City of Glen Eira. At the 2016 Census, Bentleigh East had a population of 17,873.

Bentleigh East is bounded in the west by North Road, in the north by the Nepean Highway, in the east by Centre Road and in the south by East Boundary Road.

The suburb is mainly residential, with a small shopping strip located on Centre Road. The main shopping centre is the Bentleigh Village Shopping Centre, located on the corner of Centre Road and East Boundary Road.
