Thornlands is a suburb of Redland City, Queensland, Australia. It is located approximately 40km south-east of Brisbane, the state capital. The suburb is bounded by the suburbs of Victoria Point, Redland Bay, Mount Cotton, and Sheldon. The area is mostly residential, with some rural properties. The area is home to a number of parks, reserves, and recreational facilities, including the Redland Bay Golf Club, the Redland Bay Conservation Park, and the Redland Bay State School. The suburb is also home to a number of shops, restaurants, and other businesses.
