Perth city centre is the central business district of Perth, the capital and largest city of Western Australia. It is located on the north bank of the Swan River, and is bounded by the suburbs of Northbridge, East Perth, West Perth and the Perth Hills. The Perth city centre is home to many of the city’s major cultural and entertainment venues, including the Perth Concert Hall, the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia, the Art Gallery of Western Australia, the Western Australian Museum, the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, the Perth Town Hall, and the Perth Arena. The city centre is also home to a number of shopping centres, including the Hay Street Mall, the Murray Street Mall, and the Forrest Chase Shopping Centre.
