Eight Mile Plains is a suburb of Brisbane, Australia located approximately 12km south of the Brisbane CBD. It is part of the City of Brisbane local government area. The suburb is bounded by the Pacific Motorway to the east, the Gateway Motorway to the south, and the Logan Motorway to the west. The suburb is mainly residential, with some commercial and industrial areas. The main shopping centre is the Eight Mile Plains Shopping Centre, located on the corner of Warrigal Road and Logan Road. The suburb is also home to the Eight Mile Plains Busway Station, which provides public transport services to the Brisbane CBD and other suburbs.
