Yagoona is a suburb of Sydney, Australia, located 22 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown. It is part of the South-western Sydney region. Yagoona is a residential suburb with a mix of detached houses, semi-detached houses, townhouses and high-rise apartments. The suburb is home to a large shopping centre, Yagoona Plaza, which includes a Woolworths supermarket, a Kmart, a Big W, a Target, and a variety of specialty stores. There are also a number of schools in the area, including Yagoona Public School, Yagoona West Public School, and Yagoona High School. Yagoona is well serviced by public transport, with regular bus services to Bankstown, Liverpool, and the city.
