Wangaratta is a city located in the northeast of Victoria, Australia. It is the largest city in the Rural City of Wangaratta local government area and is located approximately 250 kilometres (155 miles) northeast of Melbourne. The city is situated at the junction of the Ovens and King rivers, which divide the city into four distinct areas. The city is known for its wineries, local produce, and its vibrant arts and culture scene. It is also home to a number of historic buildings, including the Wangaratta Courthouse, the Wangaratta Railway Station, and the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre.
