Springvale is a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, located in the City of Greater Dandenong. It is located approximately 25 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD. The suburb is home to a large multicultural population, with a large proportion of residents being of Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian and Sri Lankan descent. The suburb is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and other businesses, as well as a number of parks and reserves. Springvale is also home to a number of schools, including Springvale Primary School, Springvale South Primary School and Springvale Secondary College.
