Seaford is a town in Sussex County, Delaware, United States, which is located along the Nanticoke River. The population was 6,928 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. Seaford is the largest city in Sussex County and is the commercial center of western Sussex County. It is home to the Nanticoke Indian Tribe and the Seaford Museum. The town hosts the annual Nanticoke Indian Powwow and the Nanticoke Riverfest. Seaford is also home to the Seaford School District, which serves the city and surrounding areas.
