Raymond Terrace is a town in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia, located on the Hunter River, about 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Newcastle. It is the administrative centre of the City of Maitland local government area. The town is a popular tourist destination, with attractions such as the Raymond Terrace Golf Course, the Raymond Terrace Historical Museum, and the Raymond Terrace Art Gallery. The town is also home to a number of wineries, restaurants, and cafes. The town is served by a number of bus services, and is connected to Newcastle by the Maitland railway line.
