Penshurst is a small village in the Sevenoaks district of Kent, England. It is located about 8 miles south-east of Sevenoaks and about 5 miles north-west of Tonbridge. The village is situated on the River Medway and is surrounded by the North Downs. It is home to Penshurst Place, a 14th-century manor house and gardens, and Penshurst Church, a Grade I listed building. The village has a population of around 1,500 people and is served by a local primary school, a post office, a village shop, and a pub.
