Marsfield is a suburb of Sydney, Australia, located in the Northern Suburbs of the city. It is located approximately 20 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Ryde. The suburb is mainly residential, with some commercial and industrial areas. The main shopping centre is Macquarie Centre, which is located on Herring Road. The suburb is home to Macquarie University, which is located on the eastern side of the suburb. The suburb is well serviced by public transport, with regular bus services and a train station located on the North Shore Line.
