Goulburn is a city in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. It is located approximately 195 kilometres south-west of Sydney and is the seat of the Goulburn Mulwaree Council. Goulburn is the largest city in the Southern Tablelands and the largest inland city in New South Wales. It has a population of around 24,000 people and is the major regional centre for the Southern Tablelands region. The city is known for its historic buildings, including the Goulburn Railway Station, the Goulburn Post Office, the Goulburn Court House, and the Goulburn War Memorial. It is also home to the Goulburn Racecourse, the Goulburn Showground, and the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery. Goulburn is a popular tourist destination, with attractions such as the Goulburn Historic Waterworks, the Goulburn Wetlands, and the Goulburn River Walk.
