Forrestfield is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located approximately 17 kilometres east of the Perth CBD. It is part of the City of Kalamunda local government area. The suburb is named after the nearby Forrestfield railway station, which was named after the first Premier of Western Australia, Sir John Forrest.
The suburb is home to a variety of parks, reserves and recreational facilities, including the Forrestfield Recreation Centre, which features a swimming pool, gym, and a range of other activities. The suburb also has a number of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as a number of schools, including Forrestfield Primary School and Forrestfield Senior High School.
Forrestfield is well connected to the rest of Perth, with the Forrestfield railway station providing regular services to the city centre. The suburb is also served by a number of bus routes, and is close to the Tonkin Highway, providing easy access to other parts of the city.
