Cranbourne is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the City of Casey. It is located approximately 40 km south-east of the Melbourne city centre, and is the administrative centre of the City of Casey. The suburb is surrounded by the suburbs of Narre Warren, Lyndhurst, Clyde, Pearcedale, Langwarrin, and Tooradin. The area is known for its large shopping centre, Cranbourne Park Shopping Centre, which is the largest shopping centre in the City of Casey. The suburb also has a number of parks, including the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens, which is home to a variety of native plants and animals. The suburb is also home to a number of schools, including Cranbourne Secondary College, Cranbourne East Primary School, and Cranbourne Primary School.
