Cranbourne East is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the City of Casey. It is located approximately 40km south-east of the Melbourne CBD. The suburb is bounded by the South Gippsland Highway to the north, the Monash Freeway to the east, the Cranbourne-Frankston railway line to the south and the Western Port Highway to the west. The suburb is home to a number of parks and reserves, including the Cranbourne East Recreation Reserve, the Cranbourne East Community Park and the Cranbourne East Nature Reserve. The suburb also has a number of schools, including Cranbourne East Primary School, Cranbourne East Secondary College and St. Peter’s Primary School.
