Caboolture is a town and suburb in Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia. It is located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Brisbane, the state capital. Caboolture is considered to be the northernmost urban area of the greater Brisbane metropolitan region within South East Queensland, and it marks the end of the Brisbane suburban commuter railway service along the North Coast railway line. The town is the largest urban centre in the Moreton Bay Region, and the second largest in the Sunshine Coast Region. Caboolture is home to a population of over 50,000 people, and is a major hub for the surrounding rural areas. The town is known for its historical buildings, natural attractions, and its proximity to the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
