Balwyn North is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 11km east of Melbourne’s Central Business District. Its local government area is the City of Boroondara. At the 2016 Census, Balwyn North had a population of 11,845.

Balwyn North is a residential suburb with a mix of detached houses, townhouses and apartments. It is home to a number of schools, including Balwyn Primary School, Balwyn High School, and St. Bede’s College. The suburb also has a shopping centre, Balwyn North Shopping Centre, which includes a supermarket, a post office, a bank, and a variety of other shops.

The suburb is well serviced by public transport, with a number of bus routes running through the area. The nearest train station is Box Hill, which is located about 4km away.

The suburb is home to a number of parks and reserves, including Balwyn North Reserve, which is a popular spot for walking, cycling and picnicking. The suburb also has a number of sporting clubs, including Balwyn North Cricket Club, Balwyn North Football Club, and Balwyn North Tennis Club.
